Mission & Vision Section

Our Mission

To create a trusted, verified space where radiologists at every stage of their career can connect with peers, access honest career guidance, find legitimate opportunities, and contribute to the advancement of the specialty.

Our Vision

To be the definitive professional home for American radiologists — the place where the field's most important conversations happen, where careers are built, and where the next generation of radiologists finds its footing.

Who We Are

Different radiologists at work

American Radiologists began as a Facebook group founded by a practicing radiologist who recognized a gap: there was no dedicated, verified space where radiologists could speak candidly with peers, share career insights, and access resources built specifically for the specialty.

What started as a small online community has grown to nearly 9,000 verified members across the United States — attendings, residents, fellows, and subspecialists from academic medical centers, private practices, community hospitals, and teleradiology companies.

The website you're on today is the next chapter. It brings together everything the community has organically built — peer discussion, job opportunities, professional resources — into a single, verified, radiology-specific platform.

Our Team

American Radiologists is founded and operated by practicing radiologists who understand the specialty from the inside. Our team includes attending physicians, subspecialists, and advisors committed to building a platform that genuinely serves the radiology community.
We keep our individual identities private to maintain the integrity of peer discussions on the platform — our credibility comes from our community, not our names.
